Designs for the Seven Deadly Sins
@ 27. Mar 2008 – 09:54:34 pm
First of all, a mug which is black, but when hot water is poured into it, the black dissappears and the images below, the seven sins are displayed. The product would then be sold, with the line 'Uncover Your Sins'. It would be possible then, to design a range of seven other mugs, with individual sins displayed on their own. The image below shows how the sins would be wrapped around the mug, from one side of the handle to the other side of the same handle.

The second product, Seven Sins keyrings, each displaying an individual sin, Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth, and Wrath. There would be no wording on the keyrings, just a visual representation of the packaging of that sin. These wuld be marketed with the tagline, 'Keep your Greatest Sin Under Lock and Key', hence the keyring would be attached to the consumers house keys and kept on them wherever they go. -
Planning layout and presentation of Photograph exhibition 2008
@ 22. Mar 2008 – 04:29:09 pm

I am trying to create a sense of enclosure for the exhibition, like a den, so that a limited number of people can view the photographs at once, fitting with the theme of the exhibition. Using a corner of a room with at least one side of the wall a window for light, and two display boards used on the inner side may allow this. -

"Studio project four - TBA (similar to that of the seven sins, packaging a non-object... human senses perhaps?)"
Package the attitudes people have towards packaging!

@ 13. Mar 2008 – 03:06:56 pm
A tutorial with Andrew today made me re-think how I planned my studio work to progress.
Now this is how my final submission for level 3 stands...
1. Dissertation (50% of submission)
2. A number of Studio Projects (collectively making other 50% of submission)
Studio project one - Packaging the Seven Deadly Sins
Studio project two - Packaging Heinz Ketchup in an Aerosol
Studio project three - Re-thinking the way people buy fruit and vegetables in supermarkets
Studio project four - TBA (similar to that of the seven sins, packaging a non-object... human senses perhaps?) -
Photographing dens again
@ 12. Mar 2008 – 11:02:03 pm
Just gone through the photographs I took over the weekend of another person's den for my photograph exhibition and report, and two children's dens. I also got an interview on a voice recorder from each of the volunteers. I got some good stuff - successful weekend!!
